Support Engineers

As a Support Engineer you will work with customers via phone, email, or chat to assist customers in resolving technical issues involving our Analytical products and services. You will have the opportunity to foster positive customer relationships and build customer loyalty, while effectively managing challenging situations.

Responsibilities/ Essential job Functions
  • Provide technical support to customers
  • Maintaining a support ticket queue and responding to customers in a helpful and timely manner
  • Creating and maintaining customer - facing knowledge base articles
  • Working closely with engineering to reproduce bugs and build testbeds as necessary
  • Familiar to follow notification and escalation procedures
  • Exposure to standards for communications with business involving operational issues
  • Mentoring new hires as the organization grows quickly
Skills and Expertise:
  • Ideal candidate should have an excellent knowledge in SQL and should be able to write and execute SQ L Queries.
  • Applicants should either have relevant experience in the IT industry, be in the process of earning a degree or have already completed and graduated with a degree in an IT related field.
  • Applicants must have a good understanding and comfort level with Information Technology concepts and platforms.
  • Applicants must be motivated and ready to learn - we are looking for individuals that are prepared to take advantage of our training resources, study, expand and apply their technology skill set.
  • Excellent verbal communications and written documentation skills are required.
  • Strong time management, prioritizing & organizational skills.
  • Skilled at communicating detailed information.
  • Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines.

  • Experience in Redis
  • Contributing to open source projects
  • Expertise with containerization technologies, including LXC, Docker, CoreOS
  • Bachelor 's Degree or equivalent experience required
  • 5+ years of overall experience in professional software engineering
  • At least 2+ years of hands-on experience as DevOps engineer
